Our Services

The Hallow by Samaritan House is a licensed therapeutic group home in the City of Virginia Beach for female youth ages 11-17 years old who have experienced sexual exploitation and trafficking.

Our residential home and comprehensive therapeutic program aim to provide safety, build resilience, and instill hope in the residents we serve. Staff provides individualized care and support to help each resident carry out their service plan and achieve their goals. Residents may remain in the program for up to 12 months, based on individual treatment needs and progress.

Programs for Residents

Programs and services are individualized and provided based on each participant’s unique needs, goals, and interests. Licensed clinicians use a variety of techniques to treat traumatic stress in children that will aid in the recovery process. After an assessment has been made, staff with assist residents with all clinical recommendations.

A specialized curriculum is used to provide human trafficking prevention education and promote safety through self-awareness and the development of healthy relationships. We provide instruction in coping skills, strengthen problem-solving skills, and encourage healthy decision-making. Services also focus on developing social and emotional growth and building upon each resident’s strengths.
